Sometimes it's good to slow down...you never know what you will miss

Michael's extended family lives in Murfreesboro, just south of Nashville, TN.  We stopped there on our way through the first time and saw his grandparents.  On our way back to CO, we stopped there once more and stayed the night.  Nana told us that she got a bike for Christmas, one of those tri-cycles for adults.  She was really excited about it.  On Thursday morning, after breakfast Michael asked Travis if he wanted to race Nana on her bike.  So here is the outcome...mind you Nana is 83 and Travis will 22 months in 9 days.

Needless to say Bill and I had a good laugh at the two of them.  I loved how Travis looked back and then kept on going.  Michael showed Nana all the gears and how to use them.  I love going to see them, you can kick back and relax. Nana was so sweet and had a lot of family over.  This was the first time for all of them to meet Travis in person.  He was so excited to meet them and played with cousins and aunts.

It was a long trip to GA and long trip back, but I am so glad to have done it.  I am so happy that Michael was willing to drive back.  We had some good laughs and good times with our family.
